Post War Muster Roll of Co. D, 1st Tennessee Infantry. Joseph Brown, of Old Town, is listed on line eleven. He was wounded at the Battle of Perryville in October 1862, but was deceased by the time the muster roll was written. 
First National Confederate Flag of Co. D, 1st Tennessee Infantry. Made by the women of Franklin in 1861. This flag was with Company D when Joseph Thomas Brown of Old Town served as Lieutenant.
