Conservation Status
Although Black-and-white Warblers are common, their population is declining. Toxins from pesticides, deforestation, and collisions with an increasing number of tall buildings and radio towers all contribute to this decline.
Habitat
These warblers can usually be found forests, though they can also appear in a variety of habitats such as lawns, gardens, orchards, and wetlands. Unlike seed-eating birds, you won’t see black and white warblers at your birdfeeders, since their diet mainly consists of insects.
